NEW for 2015!

In order to allow the participants more time to explore the show grounds, we have simplified the judging system. With all there is to do during the show (bands, larger indoor and outdoor vendor areas, tractors, and demonstrations), drivers/owners will no longer have to be present during Saturday’s judging. ECBRTS has developed a new judging system and will no longer utilize NAST’s method. In doing this, we strive to be fun, fair and family-friendly!  ECBRTS is no longer a National Association of Show Trucks (NAST) sanctioned event.

Back for the 2015 Show!

We asked spectators and vendors to comment on past ECBRTS shows, this is what they had to say:

“2014 will be our fourth year as a recruiter at ECBRTS. In addition to having 2 trucks in the show, we have a third tractor in our outdoor exhibitor booth. We have hired at least 4 new drivers as a direct result of the show.”

- Keith Terska, Halvor Lines Transportation

“ECBRTS was nothing short of tremendous. [The show] afforded us an opportunity to showcase our program and equipment. We spent the weekend talking to future, past and potential students as well as many others who have an interest in the transportation industry.”

- Bob Loughan, Truck Driving Instructor, Chippewa Valley Technical College

“If I only had 5 shows to attend each year, ECBRTS would definitely make the list. My return on dollars spent is wonderful, great foor traffic and outstanding feedback from our members. It is one of the best truck show in the Mid-West.”

- Jon Osburn, OOIDA’s “Spirit of the American Trucker” driver, Senior OOIDA Member

“Just a quick note of appreciation for the effort the city [of Eau Claire] put forth in making the [Eau Claire Big Rig] Truck Show a wonderful time. My wife and I live in Florida and drive truck for R&R Express out of Pittsburgh, PA. Our travels don’t normally take us to upper Wisconsin, but we had heard so many good things about the Show that we had to attend! The Community of Eau Claire, Wisconsin really delievered. We had a great time….but the really great part of the show was your community spirit! We will be back again next year!”

- Glen & Janice Rice

“The wonderful collaborative, friendly attitude of the folks who run and work at ECBRTS makes a good, clean, fun event for everyone.”

- Dave Duax, Eau Claire City Council

“We drove four hours from Minnesota to see the truck show.  We did not really know what to expect.  Saw a poster at a truck stop on I-94 while getting gas.  What a great show!  We spoke with some of the drivers and they shared some of their experiences.  Great people!  Fantastic show.  The chrome and sleepers are unbelievable.  We will tell our friends what they missed.  See you next year!”

- Family of Four

“Several of us drove up from Waukesha just for the show.  Better than a state fair!  The women weren’t crazy about coming…now we can’t get them to leave.  Thank you!  We’ll be back next year for sure!”

- Spectators

“Our drivers enjoy the Truck Show in Eau Claire. One of our tanker drivers spoke to a person at ECBRTS who now works for us. Always nice to pick up a good driver while at a good truck show.”

- Jade Transport, Canada

“This was our third time attending the show. My kids had a great time and so did my wife! Where else can a family spend a fun weekend with no admission or parking costs?!? We will see you next year.”

- Facebook Friend

“My wife said we could go for an hour or so…that was at 10:00 and we’re still here.  Absolutely love it…this is great for Eau Claire.  Eau Claire needs this.”

- Couple, age 50

“…What a GREAT Truck Show you put on this past weekend!!!  I have heard all positives from everyone I talked to.  Usually in the past Truck Shows do not do much for us truck dealers, but this one did a very good job for us to see a lot of our customers over the weekend.  My Salesmen were not real excited when I told them about the truck show a while back. However, all weekend and today they said this was the best Truck Show they have been involved in and felt it was worth while.

So again, thank you for inviting us and putting on a fantastic show!  Look forward to the one next year!”

- Bob Tyman, General Manager, River States Truck and Trailer/Nationalease

“I was looking for a heavy duty grill guard for my pick up truck. I found it at the River States Truck & Trailer booth. There was a lot of exhibitors – something for everyone at this show.”

- John A., Eau Claire, WI

“We exhibited in tent #1 at the truck show and were busy all weekend.  We actually sold a chainsaw at the show.  We handed out some coupons and invited them to our store and are still receiving them 2 months later.  Fantastic show!  See you next year.”

- Alex, owner of Pinehurst Hardware Hank/Stihl dealer

“After driving our Pete almost 500 miles to the show, we must say we were not disappointed in the least. Great location; beautiful and spacious venue. We have booked the same motel and will see you all soon. P.S. I have told other truckers about ECBRTS. There should be more new truckers coming.”

- Leonard & Kathy Eads, Timberline Trading Co., Lathrop, Missouri
